Consent & Authorisation

The consent you provide for authorised ITR filing support — always voluntary, specific and revocable.

1. Authorisation for filing support

By proceeding, you authorise MyITRdesk and its authorised filing team / tax professionals to use the information and documents you provide for the purpose of ITR preparation, review, filing, downloading tax-related information, and sharing the final acknowledgement / computation with you.

2. Option 1 — Secure e-filing password sharing (voluntary)

If you choose to share your Income Tax e-filing password:

  • It is shared voluntarily, masked while typing, encrypted at rest and used only for authorised ITR filing support.
  • It is deleted after completion of filing. You should change your password immediately after filing.
  • You confirm: “I am voluntarily sharing the above information for Income Tax Return filing support. I authorise the platform and its authorised filing team / tax professionals to access my Income Tax e-filing account only for the purpose of ITR preparation, review, filing, downloading tax-related information, and sharing the final acknowledgement / computation with me.”

3. Option 2 — OTP-assisted reset support (voluntary)

If you do not know your e-filing password, you may opt for OTP-assisted reset support:

  • Our team will contact you for OTP-based reset assistance.
  • The OTP is received on your registered mobile / email / Aadhaar-linked mobile and remains under your control.
  • You authorise MyITRdesk and its authorised filing team / tax professionals to assist with OTP-based password reset / access only for ITR preparation, review, filing, downloading tax-related information, and sharing the final acknowledgement / computation with you.

4. Withdrawal of consent

You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to support@myitrdesk.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and may prevent us from completing your filing.

5. What we will never do

  • We will never ask for your password by email or WhatsApp.
  • We will never store your e-filing password in plain text.
  • We will never use your access for anything other than authorised ITR filing support.
